Early Watercolours When
Charles Tunnicliffe was at home with his parents at Lane Ends Farm,
and
when he came back from his time in London, he enjoyed being out and
about painting watercolours of what was his home farm, other local
farms,
Macclesfield Town, 'his' countryside and views of the
Macclesfield Canal.
These watercolours are not easy to find and often the colours have faded
/discoloured with time. To compensate for this the
images of the paintings
shown here have been enhanced to look brighter, sharper
and clearer.
